Welcome to PARTNERING!

PARTNERING aims to bring small and medium size language technology providers together. Our goal is the bundling of resources, networking and close collaboration of all LT SME’s aiming at

-    exploiting synergies
-    exchanging and accessing individual and/or public resources
-    common market approach

 We want to bring LT SMEs together to

-    enhance market power towards potential customers
-    strengthen position towards other market players, like public institutions, jurisdiction etc.
-    participate in international bids
-    compete with big competitive market players 

Task: Portfolio
As a first step, we invite all members of the SIG Partnering to present their services and products to build a portfolio which demonstrates the ability of LT and shows every aspect of state of the art language technology.

Target: Brainstorming, Pool of ideas:
First of all, the SIG Partnering is the right place to share ideas. If you are thinking about innovations which require the help or assistance of others, feel free to share them with the group or individual partners. Or maybe you face obstacles in your product development which another group member has or might have already overcome. Imagine how much you could benefit from cooperation!
As a first result, some members came up with the idea to combine ideas in the area of Language Technology in Education. We would therefore invite every member to share their ideas on how their products and services could be used in language learning.  The goal is to build a portfolio of something like a “European Language Suite” which could be presented to corporations in education software, universities and language learning schools.
